I am requesting a listening center, books on CD and magnetic building tiles to build reading skills as well as a couple STEM activities. I switched from a Pre-K classroom to first grade this past year. My classroom wasn't equipped with the necessary materials to make my students successful. This year, armed with the knowledge of what is needed, I am setting up this Donors Choose Project. Students will be able to make the auditory to visual connections with this listening center with audio books. I have the listening center as well as books with CDs in this project. Coupled with other audio CD/cassette listening books I have recently purchased, my class will benefit greatly from this listening center. I also asked for a couple of STEM or STEAM activities to add to the couple that I have already purchased. Please donate to my classroom and make a difference to these first graders!
