These materials will be used all day long in first grade; pencils, crayons, dry erase markers, erasers, and more. The anchor charts allow me to introduce new strategies while the S hooks let me display them for students to reference throughout the lesson. Dry erase markers are used a lot from phonics to math instruction to small group instruction too. We use crayons to add details to our incredible writing, adding an image to our sentences. Our handwriting needs not only pencils but handwriting paper as well so we can perfect our skills. Every class I've been blessed with enjoys the smelly feedback from scented markers so I hope to continue that with the upcoming year as well.
