Kiddos love picture books! Bright colored pages with exciting plots will make math more fun for my 4th graders! Using picture books with a variety of mathematical concepts will allow me to teach to meet all learning styles. Students will grasp the concepts quicker and have lasting memories linked with the mathematical concepts that are displayed in the texts. By using picture books to introduce, practice, and reinforce mathematical concepts, I will make learning more meaningful for each one of my students. During the 2020 pandemic learning through a screen can be tough, but with picture books, learning can bring meaningful experiences and joy to my students!
