I teach ninth grade in a diverse school full of kids who want to know why their education matters. I’m hoping to provide them with a wider range of reading material that they can use to answer that question for themselves. My students need the opportunity to experience the stories of the world, told from all viewpoints. The books I have listed are the ones available for purchase through this program, but do not encompass all of my selections. I hope you will consider donating and helping members of the next generation to understand the histories and experiences of all people.
