As a first year teacher this 2020-2021 year, in a global pandemic, the financial burden of student loans, rent, finding materials and resources to set up my first classroom has been anything but relaxing. This Cricut would mean the world to me as a tool to create and foster an environment that is welcoming to the tiny humans of my kindergarten classroom. I will use it to create personalized decorations and manipulatives for each student, along with labels that are easy for kinders to interpret. I want to make t-shirts or other crafts for each student to feel inclusive in my classroom. My classroom is currently very blank and could really use some love. This is a tool that will last me a lifetime, but as a young professional out of college with debt during a global pandemic, this is not fiscally responsible for me to purchase myself.
