I teach a diverse set of learners that come from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, religious, and life experiences. My students are diverse in their lived experiences and abilities. I have a passion for providing literature that reflects my students lived experiences, beliefs, and provides characters that look like my students to promote higher self-worth.
