One reason I became a teacher was to provide my scholars the opportunity to have a voice. I want my scholars to feel completely safe within my classroom and be able to express themselves unapologetically. These items will allow my scholars to have choice and comfortability in their fidgety ways. A lot of times scholars feel confined to their thoughts and it makes it difficult to think when feeling trapped. The furniture provided for this classroom will create a safe environment for all students to feel included and not feel discouraged to learn since it may be difficult for some of our scholars to sit in one spot. I would hate to be confined to one area for a long period of time. I believe the quarantined has taught us that as well haha.
