The colorful story books will engage my Dual Language students during our daily read-aloud time and spark great conversations in our class, creating connections to their own lives. The stories will help my second-graders identify with the characters and create opportunities for personal growth and development. The subscriptions to Time for Kids magazine will allow students to practice comprehension skills and fluency. At the same time they will be introduced to real-world topics they might otherwise not be exposed to. The variety of topics will engage students and fuel their love of learning.
