It is known that Physical Education plays a key role in the development of the students' life. The students benefit from daily physical activity in multiple ways. Physical health will benefit subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. Students’ needs are met in Physical Education- not just on a physical level, but also on social, psychological, emotional, and academic levels as well. Physical Education at a primary level provides the fundamentals that the students will continue to use to play sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle in life. Many of the games we play in Physical Education involve tumbling mats. New tumbling mats would allow for more engaging and teamwork based activities for students of all ability levels within a class.
