These different types of dynamic seating will allow students the opportunity to better engage in learning by providing movement during lessons. This project includes beanbag chairs, wobble chairs, and balance ball seats. By providing every student the opportunity to move, no student will feel left out or unable to get their wiggles out during stationary work times. Research and data support that most human beings need movement breaks throughout their day to activate their brain and support continued engagement! This is no different for the students in my classroom. Working with students of varying disabilities can be a challenge without the proper tools. In order to support sensory and movement needs for these students, they need proper access to these tools. If we are going to bridge the gap, providing students with the tools for success is the first step!
