Studies show that when students are given the resources they need, such as school supplies, their grades can improve, creativity and attitudes about learning are heightened, and even behavior and self image are seen in a more positive light. Education is the first step to overcoming poverty. A notebook and pack of pencils could be the gateway to fostering a promising career. These materials will help my students become better writers as I model for them on the chart paper the various styles of writing. Additionally, my students will use the whiteboards and markers to show their work and understanding of math concepts.

About my class
