As we know, not all students learn the same way. As a result, differentiated instruction is important. The Osmo Kit will allow my students to use technology while learning. It provides stimulating activities to promote learning. Most importantly, it provides students with confidence which often creates an environment to learn independently. Hands-on learning helps students to not only pay attention, but to actually connect with and enjoy what they learn. The Literacy Kit will allow hands-on activities which will help my students learn through real experience, rather than through simply reading or listening. The Sand Trays are important for retaining information. Retaining information can sometimes be a struggle. Sand Trays allow for hands-on learning. Hands-on learning better engages both sides of the brain. Being able to touch and see something is simply more powerful than only reading about it.
