These books will help enhance the print-rich environment that I am striving to create. As well, the new texts will build up my classroom library and enable me to utilize a new literature curriculum with my diverse group of students. The books are full of social-emotional lessons, multicultural topics, and thematic subjects that will help my students make connections to science and social studies standards. Read-alouds are so powerful in the early childhood classroom. My students will benefit greatly from the access to these engaging picture books as we conduct our weekly book studies.
