Teaching from home can be exhausting for students and teachers. As a first-year teacher, online learning isn't always fun and games. Teaching carries a lot of responsibilities, to begin with and now, the pressure is on more than ever to support students through distance learning. My district-issued Chromebook is slow to load. Online learning can be difficult, but with the right tools and resources, I can engage and instruct my kindergartners remotely. Having a Mac will give me the opportunity to create engaging learning experiences for my students at home to help them succeed. I will create visuals and presentations that engage students in hands-on experiences which will give them a better understanding of the skills and concepts I am teaching. In addition, it will give me a chance to use more interactive tools and resources with my students online.
