Kindergarten Math standards while simple, set a foundation for later years. This foundation needs to be solid. After the standard is taught, students need to be granted opportunities to explore and test out the mathematical concept further. It is their turn to apply their knowledge, test concepts, and develop deeper understanding of numbers. Students are not as successful at achieving math goals, when they are not given an opportunity to fully participate in their learning. Grant them the experience to solidify their learning of Math and its process by being engaged with multimodal activities.
