The materials I have selected, such as kinetic sand, fidget toys, and journals, will be used to help students develop healthy social and emotional skills that they will use in the classrooms and in their relationships. I want to provide a safe place for them and help them to become successful. Many of the students I encounter struggle not only mentally and emotionally but academically. With the use of these materials, students can gain confidence, feel loved and supported, learn how to manage their own emotions, process difficult times in their lives, develop healthy habits for learning, and have skills that will help them manage their stress and relationships.

About my class
