This is a difficult time for all students. Many are filled with worries and navigating a “new normal” with distance learning. This project would help with resources to connect with them and teach important social-emotional skills. Examples include social relationships in a digital environment, digital citizenship, self-regulation, anxiety/worries, transitioning to middle school, calming activities, and virtual journals to practice mindfulness and write about their feelings. This project would help me purchase digital social-emotional resources for virtual small groups, classroom lessons, and individual sessions with students and parents.
