It is my goal to build a set of Chromebooks for my classroom so that my students all have the opportunity to engage with technology in a meaningful way. Having access to technology is a great way to continue fostering their learning. Chrome donations will allow my students to actively engage with great online programs. Technology platforms such as NEARPOD, QUIZIZZ, and KAHOOT! are just a few of many that offer exciting and new ways to check for understanding and engage learners in a fun way. They will have the opportunity to expand their experiences in virtual field trips as well. In addition, the devices will allow my students to gain technology skills and maximize their English language learning experience. Having access to Chromebooks will offer multiple ways for my students to create, connect, and engage in more authentic learning. It will be amazing to see the collaboration and creativity that will be taking place in the classroom thanks to technology.
