Teaching fourth grade for a few years, I have learned that even they need to be able to use manipulatives to gain a concrete understanding of the standards. So, I am requesting fraction decimal students hands-on set for the students to be able to use to gain mastery of our fractions and decimal standards. The visuals will allow the students to gain more of an understanding. I am also asking for place value hands-on student kits to help my students master expanded form, word form, and standard form. Lastly, the multiplication kit will allow my students to practice their multiplication facts independently while checking their work. All the math resources will help my students to develop into strong 4th grade mathematicians.
