All of my students would be so grateful to have flexible seating. This gives them the option to be comfortable and feel safe WHILE learning! The books will help build a sense of community in our classroom, especially important on the first day of school. The letter and sight word materials will be used during centers. Many students learn best with hands on activities. These supplies will help them to build on all of those skills needed to move on to the First Grade. It is important that I give my students in Philadelphia and equal opportunity to learn and grow just like everyone else.
