My students were affected by COVID-19. I am working hard to fill in gaps students have. We are working hard on spelling and reading words to help them become amazing writers and readers. I hope to give students a hands on and engaging activity to help them achieve greatness. I will be setting up different stations for students to go to and practice building, writing, and reading words. Sight word recognition helps students become more fluent and accurate readers. Fluency affects reading comprehension. A higher level of fluency will help with a stronger comprehension.
