The materials I’ve chosen will improve my students reading by offering a listening center in our classroom for audio books. Students in my kindergarten class are grasping how to read and recognize high frequency words. A listening center would allow the to read and listen to books independently during small group time. The art supplies are used daily. Students love to draw/paint about what they are hearing while I read them stories. Finally the other materials will replace those used on a daily basis that are damaged and worn from years of use.
