The students in the Specialized Academic Instruction program have diverse needs and need to learn through diverse means of instruction. Due to their needs, they learn through hands-on materials, music, art, etc. For instance, some students in the program are learning through puppets; some students are learning with colored flashcards; some students are learning with paint and art. No matter how they learn, these students begin to see progress because the learning style is catered to their needs and interests. The requested materials will allow these incredible learners to continue making progress with their goals and interests at home. Students with disabilities learn best when they are able to work with hands-on manipulatives and visuals that they are familiar with. Your donation will allow me to continue reaching these students' learning styles, even when it is done from a computer during this period of remote learning.
