The hands-on manipulatives will be great for students to use during small group instruction, learning centers, and RTI time. Providing students with fun learning experiences will help create a positive mind set of school. I plan to use the manipulatives mostly in small group lessons to give students a hands on and visual experience on the lesson being taught. The geoboards will be great to teach lessons about shapes. Students love to use Play-Doh and letter stampers to practice spelling words and phonics patterns. The gel boards will be a fun way to practice math facts, spelling, and handwriting.
