We always start a new lesson off by gathering for the lesson introduction on the classroom carpet. This is where the teacher models and teaches the lesson. The students will then return to their desks to do group work. Most of my students require fidget toys in order to focus. The fidget bands will be very beneficial in helping them stay on task. Due to Coronavirus, the students will not be able to share supplies. The pocket for the chairs will allow students to keep all of their belongings and supplies together. Lastly, the easel paper will be used to create anchor charts of important concepts to be hung around the room. My students are very passionate about learning and will benefit from each of these items greatly. They are ready to return to "normal" school and my goal is to make it as normal as possible while abiding by social distancing and hygiene.
