Students at our K-12 school come from a small, rural, economically disadvantaged community with close proximity to a military base. Many students are coping with difficult home lives due to a parent being deployed and/or coming from traditional families. A sensory pathway in the hallway would be such a useful resource for these students. Students would be able to use the pathway to calm themselves down and self regulate, take their minds off of worries and get their wiggles out so they can better focus in class. Regardless of their age, this would be such a helpful resource for all elementary students!
