Students with sensory needs, need an environment that they feel comfortable and safe in. Providing sensory integration in the classroom will allow us to include all children and provide an environment where they can be successful. It’s essential to provide the appropriate materials needed to meet the needs of all learners. It is important that furniture and materials are chosen carefully to accommodate all abilities and needs. With the integration of these materials, we can teach students coping strategies and provide them multiple opportunities to participate in classroom activities while meeting their individual needs.

About my class
