These supplies will allow students to learn in a meaningful and fun way! Students will be given the opportunity to utilize materials they were not able to before due to COVID. The books in my cart will allow for student who need to be quarantined to continue leveled reading. It will increase my library and allow me to give books to the students who need additional support at home. The counting cones are helpful for student who have never counted manipulatives. It helps my students have a hands on experience they have never had before. The materials being requested are easy to wash, handle, and develop meaningful learning. Rather than a shallow learning environment that is full of dividers and worksheets, I want to create experiences that will help my Title I, ESL, 1st grade learners an activity to remember and talk about at home! Socially, students have been hindered, learning has not been fun, environments are constantly changing. I want to develop consistency in centers and good times with all lessons. These students have been stripped of group experiences, fun activities, and meaningful educational opportunities due to COVID-19! I am striving to create fun learning experiences.
