These headphones will let my students become lifelong, independent learners by allowing me to fully implement the Modern Classrooms Project model. The 3 pillars of the Modern Classrooms Project are: mastery-based grading, blended instruction, and self-paced structures. This model has been shown to have significant positive impacts on both students and teachers according to research from John Hopkins University. The headphones will facilitate my students' ability to be masters of their own learning. My recorded instruction that students will listen to on the headphones will allow me to meet every student wherever they are academically and let students work at their own pace until they have mastered content and skills. The Modern Classrooms Project model is on the cutting edge of pedagogy and you can help my students be there everyday.
