For many of my students, it is their first time going to school and being in a classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable and happy in their environment. With flexible seating, my students will take turns choosing which seat they get daily and this will help develop their social-emotional skills. A child is supposed to move and I will work to incorporate movement throughout my day. With flexible seating, they are able to move even when they are working, and this is something that many students will find helpful and motivating when learning and completing their assignments.

About my class
