While learning in a contained classroom, we need a calming, comfortable, relaxing learning environment. We benefit more from small brain breaks from our desk, also sitting in different areas for reading or take mindfulness breaks when needed. While my classroom varies from different functions at a variety of levels ages, backgrounds, races, personalities, and disabilities. All students learn differently, and I want to provide and accommodate them with the best learning, beneficial experience I can. With that being said meeting their needs by providing the best seating choice, supplies, and making space to be able to move around in the classroom without being confined and restricted to one area inside the classroom giving each individual student space, room to move around the room if needed. Giving students actives in and out of their desks while the teachers try our best to meet and accommodate.
