Like many others, our school year came to an abrupt stop, we closed our doors March 13th and have been learning remotely ever since. My students have not skipped a beat since transitioning to remote learning, students are working hard to best prepare themselves for next school year.. which for them is middle school. My students are elementary age, they look forward to the end of year celebrations, field trips, field days and most importantly graduation. Whether you call it graduation day, moving up day, or recognition day, this is a day to honor and celebrate students moving on to middle school. My students deserve this time to be recognized for their accomplishment thus far. Although this graduation may be far from traditional I want this to be a time for them celebrate, to be recognized, and a time to reflect on elementary school. Please help me send my students off to middle school the right way.
