Paper and pencil only go so far in the world of special education! To learn, students really need to touch, move, and interact with the math and science concepts they are trying to learn. The set of materials I have assembled will enrich my students’ experience as they learn the concepts of quantity, weight, mass, speed, and friction in fun and inviting ways. These materials will quickly become class favorites as we rotate, twice a day through learning centers. Play is a child’s work, and these inviting materials will engage them in foundational math and science concepts.
