Learning to read can be difficult for many students. Some students need more detailed explanations to understand the English language. Learning to read when you are a hard-of-hearing student is even more difficult. It takes much more time to understand the written code of English. Students with hearing loss need more instruction and practice to become fluent readers. I will incorporate these decodable books and educational activities to ensure my hard-of-hearing students can read and understand the content. Games will also be used to practice spelling words and reinforce reading.
