My Kindergartners and I are requesting durable, kid sized headphones for our iPads. We use iPads everyday during reading and math small group rotations. Getting to use technology gives my students a sense of independence and it is something they truly enjoy. With so many fun and engaging apps, QR codes, and other activities that our students have access to--comes noise, lot's of noise. Having individual headphones will give students the opportunity to work without the disturbance of outside noise, which usually causes them to lose focus and get off task. If I am able to supply students with headphones while using their iPads, I will be providing them with the best environment that is conducive to learning and academic achievement.
