This year, I want my students to focus on their organizational skills more by making an interactive classroom binder. This binder will be separate from other classes. My goal is to have the students keep their notes, homework, and extra practice in this binder for future use and for further study. As of right now, the students in my school will be learning in the classroom all five days of the week. My largest class has 24 students in it. Because our school district does not want our students sharing materials, this makes our organizational, interactive binders rather difficult to make. Therefore, I am asking for the following items for my students to have enough materials that they will not need to share materials in the classroom. Because many of the families in my school district may have been under financial distress during the pandemic, this would be a fantastic time for my students to receive individual classroom materials for their binders. Some of the other items on the intended list are for the classroom in addition to the binder project. The posters will be for the wall so that the 7th grade students can enhance their math vocabulary throughout the year. The magnet clips will help to hang these posters on the board. The Keurig is for a special treat of hot cocoa or hot apple cider. Another reward item on the list is the "Set" game. This was one of my favorite games as a child, and I would like to share my love for this thinking game with my students. Finally, the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card is to enhance my lesson materials for the students while they are getting back into the swing of things by learning five days a week in the classroom.
