Having access to binoculars can really excite and expand my students learning about birds and other living things in nature. At the same time they get to enjoy something that is mostly free to everyone hiking and observing nature. We’ve learned about food pyramids, food webs, bird structure and all living things that are native to our area. There is so much to see, but it’s just a matter of having the right equipment. It has been a very challenging time for students and families. Being able to go outdoors can be an escape from electronics and provide social emotional healing with the family by enjoying nature.
