Having a variety of sensory materials will help my students to be more focus during lessons. When they feel overstimulated and need to regulate their emotions they will be able to chose the sensitive material that best suits their specific needs and will refocus on the class. The use of weighted toys on their lap will help to stay seated and attentive during large group activities. In addition with the use of manipulatives and puzzles will help them to stay engaged and learn about seasons, family and emotions as well as academics.
