Seconds grade is a magical year where students have an unparalleled experience of social and academic wonder. Our students continue to learn reading skills, hone their writing abilities, finesse mathematical abilities, and garner interests in fields of botany, zoology, and theater through adventurous play and exploration. Our school has an invested interest in STEAM education and we love to showcase our pride in resourcing and funding our projects in creative and thoughtful ways. I am asking for these things so my students can have a normal school year with all the pencils, notebooks, dry erase boards and other basic items, they will need for an amazing year. Students will use the resources described in our everyday life. We use dry erase markers for circle time and phonics activities. We use spiral notebooks to keep notes. Our students are active participants in making anchor charts. We utilize anchor charts as visual guides around the room for topics we discuss. Materials such as glue, erasers, pencils, crayons, and pencil pouches are all resources that students need to effectively complete all their lessons within our classroom. These are basic supplies needed for every lesson for the whole year. There is so much that is unknown and uncertain, but giving to children is always a worthy and rewarding task. Please consider helping my students as you choose your charitable donations this year.
