Each new school year comes with its own challenges; however, we are entering a year unlike any other. My students’ worlds have been turned upside down by recent events, and we are being asked to take on the role of juggling in-class and virtual teaching at the same time. Students are not allowed to share materials, and every item they use must be stored separately to ensure everyone’s safety. I am using this project to create safe spaces for my students to keep their belongings as well as to purchase high quality teaching material that can be used for both in class as well as virtual teaching. I am asking for donations towards rolling carts that I can use to separate student supplies as well as to keep my group A and group B students completely separate. I am also looking to purchase high quality teaching supplements from Teachers Pay Teachers that will benefit all. Any help is greatly appreciated as I try to meet the new needs of my students!
