Computer coding is a great tool to use in the science classroom to teach engineering and problem solving. Coding BotBall robots to complete fun challenges is even better because students get to see real physical changes to the code they wrote . Students either get instant success when their code works and the robot completes the challenge, or they continue to problem solve until they achieve success. These Botball robots are the best teacher I have ever seen in a classroom. The kids race to class to get their robot and work the entire class period to complete challenges. I need to learn more about coding and using the robots to better challenge my hard working students.
