My students are excited to learn how to read! As a reading specialist, I support at-risk readers. It is vital to my students’ success that I create engaging guided reading lessons using level texts. Level texts allow students to read with support while offering the right amount of rigor. In addition to proving guided reading lessons, many of my beginning readers struggle to recall high frequency words such as "this", "his" or "these". The high frequency texts will allow students to see high-frequency words in sentences with colorful pictures. My project will ensure my students learn to read.
