Since I will not have the opportunity this year to be in the classroom with my students and provide them with the materials needed to make learning exciting, I would love to be able to provide them a kit for them to take home and use during my online teaching as well as with their parents/learning coach. I am also trying to make a binder with math, writing, science and social studies activities that will reinforce what I am teaching. This is why I am asking for binders and paper. I would really love to have the opportunity to give my students as many hands-on activities as I can and minimize the time they have to be on the computer. At a kindergarten level, I want my students to use play doh for letter formation, counting, etc. I want them to have manipulatives for math; so, the ten frames, the tens and ones, and the 100 chart are things that we use almost daily. The dry erase pockets are wonderful for them to practice repeatedly letter formation, writing rainbow words, and tracing numbers. The whiteboards also provide endless options. Please join me in the effort, during these challenging times, to make learning as enjoyable and productive for my students as possible. Thank you so much.
