I am so excited to fulfill my dream of becoming an elementary teacher! This will be my first year in the classroom. Due to the current climate concerning the pandemic, my ability to earn supplemental income has been greatly diminished. This has made things difficult to supply my students with the classroom environment they deserve. Everything I have added to my project will play a major role in not only putting together my first classroom, but also providing the best learning experience for my future students. I have added the stools & balance balls to create different options of flexible seating for the students. The books on my list will be great for my math class. It will teach help me create an interest in while also building the student's reading fluency. I have a dream to do "Morning Bins" instead of worksheets first thing when the students enter the classroom. This will help them exercise their brains without the stress of paperwork. I added the dominos & the linking cubes to use as materials for these bins. The reason I am submitting a request is on the behalf of my students and not myself. I want to create an engaging environment that makes them happy to be back in the classroom.
