By having flexible seating options it gives students the ability to take some ownership in how they are learning. It would be great to have enough variety in the classroom that every student could find and have their just right seat. The one that makes you comfortable and calm ... ready to learn. Students were literally skipping breakfast to pick the few seating options other than a chair last year!! I had to draw names for the 5 flexible seating options I had last year. That was just a band-aide to a much larger problem. Please help us rip off the band-aide so to speak and give my students the chance to pick their seat!
