Teaching fourth grade for a number of years, I realized that many students have a "blocked mindset " in Mathematics. Therefore, I would like to help students to change their mind set in Math. The computer will allow students to independently complete fun tutorial lessons that will give them the opportunity to be guided and use objects as they learn. The other manipulative will allow students to have fun and make connection to real-world while learning Math concepts at their grade level. I will also use the computer and manipulative in my "Math Club" I started two years ago.
