Reading is an important part of the classroom. It is woven across the curriculum in all subjects areas. It is essential that children take ownership of their reading abilities and their book choices. He that loves reading has everything within his reach. By donating to my project, my students will be able to create their own private libraries. Having a space where students can store books they chose for use throughout the day, not only builds ownership; but also a sense of responsibility for the students and their actions. Being able to complete this project would allow for easy access to complete work on book studies, book reviews, project based learning, and so much more!
