My goal as a preschool teacher is to inspire my students to share the same love I have for reading and to find the value of books. I read out loud to my students daily, multiple times a day. I share a range of books, from funny books, nursery rhyme poems to character building books; from educational stories, to fables. My students enjoy listening to me read. The majority of the books I am requesting with this project are books I know my students will greatly love and enjoy. I am also asking for cultural books, so my students can learn about different cultures. Also for books on emotions and how to handle emotions like anger and anxiety as a child. These books will be well loved and greatly appreciated. My students are eager to learn and really enjoy when I read to them. We work hard daily to help our students learn new concepts and build their knowledge. Books contain an endless amount of knowledge that students may not have access to at home.
