The materials requested for this project will be used to assist six and seven year olds with using a Chromebook. Due to the young age of my students, they will learn how to use shareable documents so that the entire class can work together on a strategy or skill. Shareable documents allow the class to work in real-time on an assignment, discuss misconceptions, and offer immediate feedback on a skill. I believe using shareable documents will benefit my students more than me explaining the skill and then assigning an activity and students working independently. Additionally, a dry erase board will allow me to easily explain a concept or skill for my students. I teach all subject areas and a dry erase board will allow me to instantly share my thinking with students.
