These books will help enhance the importance and value of diversity that I want and have instilled in my classroom. Adding these books to our classroom library will give my students a wider variety to choose from and appreciate during our silent reading time, partner reading, and read alouds. Diversity should not only be celebrated during specific times of the school year but throughout the entire school year. Having these books in our classroom library, available to all my students, will help me make that possible through stories that celebrate and amplified the beauty of our differences!
